2026-27 School Year Positions 4th Grade Teacher Dates: September 1, 2026- June 11, 2027 (includes paid training days August 20-26, 2026) Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-4:30pm and every other Friday 10am-4pm are admin/professional days. (35 hours/week) Salary- $21/hour Job Description: The 4th Grade Teacher facilitates instruction/activities in the classroom for 8-10 students. Duties include, but not limited to:
Instruct 4th Grade students in English, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
Follow lesson plans and implement curriculum in classroom setting, using resources and materials to effectively teach lessons and concepts.
Maintain a positive classroom environment, effectively address misbehavior.
Grade and record assignments in ThinkWave (online grading system).
Complete quarterly report cards for students.
Develop strategies and activities to keep students excited about learning and engaged throughout the day.
Set up classroom with appropriate materials before children arrive
Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
Participate in other program activities, such as staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, field trips, etc.
Maintain a positive relationship with parents and families via regular communication.

RFCA Volunteer Opportunities: Come and help us teach an elective or two during the 2026-27 school year! All opportunities begin with a mandatory orientation/training.
