- Follow lesson plans and implement curriculum in classroom setting, using resources and materials to effectively teach lessons and concepts.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment, effectively address misbehavior.
- Grade and record assignments in ThinkWave (online grading system).
- Complete quarterly report cards for students.
- Develop strategies and activities to keep students excited about learning and engaged throughout the day.
- Set up classroom with appropriate materials before children arrive
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
- Participate in other program activities, such as staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, field trips, etc.
- Maintain a positive relationship with parents and families via regular communication.
