OUR ADMINISTRATION
Principal Faith Davis joined the RFCA family in 2015, when she left her career as a
Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Washington DC. In D.C. she worked at an Early Intervention Center and School for children with special needs for 8 years. At RFCA she worked as an
instructional coordinator for 2nd-7th grades, before becoming the principal. She has since
served as Principal while teaching various subject and grades from Pre-K through 5th grade.
Ms. Faith joined Rainbow Family Christian Center (RFCC) when it began in 1996. She has
served as a teacher in Children's Church, a youth leader, and the Missions Director. Ms. Faith is currently enjoying Principal of RFCA, InCamp Director and teaching math in the higher grades. She enjoys seeing children develop their own relationship with the Lord and excel in every area of their lives.

Ms. Tania is our administrative assistant at the Academy and Spanish teacher. She also implements our quarterly cooking class for students. Prior to joining RFCA, she has worked as an administrative assistant for about 5 years. Ms. Tania has attended RFCC church for over 10 years and served in various ministries. She loves to organize and enjoys imparting into children.
FACULTY
Ms. Shamika joined RFCA in 2016 as a teacher's aide. Prior to coming to RFCA, Ms. Shamika worked in a DCPS Kindergarten classroom with City Year. There she was the Cheerleading coach, Aftercare Coordinator, as well as teacher's aide. Since joining RFCA she has worked in the Infant and toddler, preschool, and kindergarten classrooms. Ms. Shamika completed her 90 Clock Hour Preschool Child Care Certification in 2022 and become our Pre-K4 Teacher. Ms. Shamika has attended First Baptist Church of Capitol Heights all of her life. She teaches children's church on Sundays and enjoys crafting with her Cricut in her free time. She loves using games and art to make learning fun for her students.

Ms. Rachael has attended RFCC church for several years and loves to pray and disciple other women. Ms. Rachael loves seeing children progress academically and spiritually.

Ms. Ann is our 2nd grade teacher at the Academy. She has a 90 hour certification for teaching Preschool and School-age childcare. Ms. Ann also earned her bachelor's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL), K-12 certification. She has taught in childcare for 4 years, as a substitute teacher in public schools for 2 years, and 7 years as a certified teacher in Prince George's County Public Schools. She received the Most Improved Reading Scores award during her teaching career. Ms. Ann also attends King of the Nations church in Rockville, MD where she has attended for about 20 years. She loves discipling children and using her creativity to engage children in learning.

Ms. Rose is our 4th, 5th and 6th grade Language Arts teacher at the academy. Ms. Rose has her Bachelor's in Education and after teaching in public schools, taught English as a second language as she served as a missionary in Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia. She has been a part of the RFCA staff since 2019 teaching various subjects from 2nd through 5th grade.
Ms. Kim is our classroom aide and oversees art class. Ms. Kim has worked at RFCA's Summer Camp, assisting in the classroom and implementing afternoon activities. Ms. Kim has her own business making jewelry. She has worked as a camp counselor and served as a parent volunteer in her children's schools in various capacities. She also has attended 2 years of SMTI Bible College through RFCC. Ms. Kim has attended RFCC church for over 5 years and served in various ministries. She loves to craft and enjoys imparting into children.
Ms. Whitney is our music teacher at the Academy. She utilizes a hands-on approach and small-group setting to teach music concepts which enhances social skills and critical thinking. Ms. Whitney earned her Associate's degree in General Studies and STEM. She has been the worship leader at Rainbow Family Christian Center (RFCC) for the past 5 years and has been a part of the RFCC worship choir for more than 10 years. She leads the children ministry's choir at RFCC for special holiday concerts and events. She enjoys training the next generation on how to worship and praise God.
